About This Job
This project was an extensive renovation of a bungalow which included converting the loft space into a beautiful master bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
The ground floor alterations included
- Extending the existing living room and installing beautiful bifold doors.
- Extending the existing dining room and opening it up to create a stunning open plan family living area. An impressive glass gable end details corbeling brickwork and bifold doors to maximise light and view of the beautiful garden. The vaulted ceiling incorporates two electric Velux windows and creates an even greater sense of space and openness.
- Extending the garage and porch areas to maximise storage space.
- A new full central heating system was installed to include underfloor heating throughout the property.
- Installed a bespoke oak staircase with glass balustrade and integrated strip lighting.
- Full family bathroom refit to include a large walk in shower.
- Full electrical rewire.
The first floor alterations included
- Two dormers, one at the rear of the property and one at the side. This allowed for much better use of the space and ensured our clients got the best views.
- A new roof was installed to accommodate the new dormers but to also bring the existing roof up to modern standards. A loft space was retained for storage.
This project was fantastic to be part of. It has created a beautiful home for the whole family to enjoy.
